Photo1, Photo2, Photo3, Photo4, Photo5, Photo6, Photo7, Photo8, Photo9, Photo10,Photo11, Photo12, Photo13 June 14 and 15, 2007 - President of ETSGA Guy Jaouen and president of the FILC Willie Baxter were invited to the inauguration of the new head office of FILA (International Federation of Associated Wrestling styles), in Switzerland through the agreement between the FILC with FILA. Photo: the former great champion Alexander Medved, Willie Baxter and Jacques Rogge (IOC president). FILA indicates on its Web site that " Forms of traditional wrestling exist everywhere in the world. They are the expression of the ancestral cultures and rituals that structures them. FILA forget them a long time, but decided since some years to promote them again. " 24 to 28 April 2007 - Exchange with Tunisia at Ariana and Mahdia. Photo1, Photo2, Photo3, Photo4, Photo5, Photo6, Photo7, Photo8, Photo9, Photo10 10 & 11 march 2007 - Meeting of the council in Valencia (Spain) on the invitation of the Escola autonòmica de jocs tradicionals » and the « Fundació (fondation) Jaume II El Just ». From February the 18th to the 24th was organised in Carhaix, Brittany, an international camp of young people practising traditional wrestling in their country. A seniors Scottish wrestling competition has marked the end of the week. This wrestling style is indeed quite close to other styles, like the one practised in Sardinia, in the Spanish Léon, in England, etc. The wrestlers swear to wrestle with loyalty (photo) before wrestling. The oath is pronounced in the languages of all the regions, and for the 1st times in one of the tong of Niger (photo). The position of the arms is locked in Scottish wrestling (photo), which doesn't avoid spectacular throws (photo). From the 14th to the 17th of September 2006 : International Congress of Traditional Games in Santander (Cantabria, Spain) in conclusion to the Culture 2000 project started in November 2005. 436 delegates participated to the Congress (belonging to 62 different organisations), of which 105 came from abroad (France, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Tunisia, Brazil). (photo) From the 10th to the 13rd of August : Assembly General Meeting to Rodez (Midi-Pyrenees, France) during the finals of the France championship by teams of skittles of eight (the 10.08) and the France individual championship (13.08). The delegates have been received by the vice presidents of the general council of Aveyron, and by the municipalities of Espalion and Rodez (11.08). (photos) March 13, 2006 - Meeting in Paris to the head quarters of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural organisation), with the object to prepare the creation of an international platform whose goal will be to promote and develop the traditional games and sports in the world. Council meeting on March 10 (photo), receiption in the town hall (photo 1) (photo 2) March 8, 2006 (evening) - Meeting of Brissogne (Valley of Aoste), in the PALAFENT, heat office of the FENT, with the president of ETSGA, the responsibles of the FENT and those of the street festival of Verona (Italy). (photo) Exhibition of the Cantabrian Traditional Sports and Games at Santander, in September 2005. (Exhibition) Assembly General Meeting in Santander - Spain – 26th, 27th and 28th August, 2005, during the Spanish championship of bolo palma (photos 2 & 3). The delegates have been welcomed by the president of the parliament of Cantabria, Mr. Miguel Angel Palacio, and by the Maire of Santander, Mr. Gonzalo Piñeiro. The 13th international championship of celtic wrestling has been organised in Landerneau (Brittany). 7 teams have participated : Iceland, North England, Sardinia, Leon (Spain), Austria, Scotland and Brittany. Sweden and Fryslan (NL) which were registered did not present a team. It was the 20th birthday of the FILC. (Photo 1, Photo 2) On the 17 th, 18 th and 19 th of February 2005, the federation of Boule de Fort received in Angers (France) the ETSGA executive committee. The federation of Boule de Fort gather about 400 clubs with 44 000 members in the clubs. The agenda was mainly a point on the first four years of existence and the preparation of the assembly general meeting of August 2005 in Santander (Spain). (Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3 ) The assembly general meeting of ETSGA took place in Aosta - Italy - July 10 and 11, 2004. An European gathering has been organised in Brittany, Lesneven on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of May 2004, with delegations from Ireland, Galicia, Cantábria, Belgium and of course Brittany : "GAMES OF EUROPE - C'hoarioù an dud". (Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3, Photo 4, Photo 5 ) ETSGA council met in Quimper - France, on December the 11th and 12th, 2003. (Photo) The ETSGA Assembly General Meeting 2003 will be held at Evergem, close to Ghent-België, August 16th and 17th, in parallel to the Belgium championship of Krubol (flat bowll) and of an international meeting of two other traditional games. The European Championship of Celtic Wrestling (traditional styles) will be held on July 12th and 13th in Ollolai, close to Nuero, Sardinia-Italia. (Photo 1) A presence of a stand at the international fair of Toulouse - France, the weekend of April 5, 2003, will be held, in partnership with the center for traditional games and sports of Occitania. The ETSGA council met in Rodez - France, on January the 9th and 10th, 2003. One of the main points was to establish the organization of an inventory for the skittle games to the European level. (Photo 1) ETSGA sponsored the Nantes international Meetings of traditional games (France), the 3, 4 and 5 of October 2002, in partnership with the Confederation Falsab of Brittany. (Photo 1) The first assembly general meeting of the ETSGA was held on August 24th 2002 in Pavullo, close to Modena - Italia, in parallel with the Italian championship of Ruzzolone, a game where one throws a flat bowl that symbolizes a cheese.
